Use & Care Tips

• Daily Refresh: After every practice, gently wipe your mat with Manduka Mat Wash & Refresh. Dry with a clean, dry cloth and roll it up for storage once it's completely dry.
• Thorough Clean: When a deep clean is needed, use Manduka Botanical Mat Cleaner. Homemade mixtures, alcohol-based products or other brands' cleaning products are not recommended; they can reduce surface performance and void the lifetime guarantee.
• Breaking In Your Mat (Break-In Period): New PROlite® mats may feel slippery at first. This comes from the mat's natural structure and quickly disappears with regular use. The best method: practice regularly (Practice, practice, practice.). Your mat takes on your personal shape with every use, and its grip gets stronger. To reduce slipping in the first weeks: place a Manduka eQua® or Yogitoes® towel on top of the mat. Using a towel in sweaty or hot practices adds extra security.
• To Store: Roll the mat with the top surface facing out. This keeps the mat flat and prevents the corners from curling. Store in a dry place away from sunlight.
