Use & Care Tips

• Daily Refresh: To keep your mat fresh and clean after every practice, gently wipe the surface with Manduka Mat Wash & Refresh spray. Then towel dry with a clean, dry cloth and let it dry completely before rolling it up.
• Thorough Clean: When a deeper clean is needed, homemade mixtures, alcohol-based disinfectants or other brands' cleaning products are not recommended; they can harm the mat's surface performance and void the lifetime guarantee.
• Break-In Period: New Manduka PRO mats may feel a little slippery at first — this is completely normal. Over time and with regular use, these mats naturally "break in" and their grip becomes excellent. The best method: just practice, practice and practice some more. The more you use the mat, the more naturally its surface "settles in" and becomes non-slip. If you notice your hands and feet slipping early on, lay a Manduka eQua® or Yogitoes® towel over the mat for extra grip. This method boosts both safety and comfort, especially in hot or sweaty practice. The process is complete after a few weeks of regular use, and your mat develops a grip that's uniquely yours.
• To Store: Roll the mat with the top surface facing out. This keeps the corners of your yoga mat flat and prevents curling. Keep out of direct sunlight; store in a dry, shaded place.
